Hi guys, I've recently bought a spod rod and was thinking of giving it a go on the lakes  ,
but I know some of you dislike them  but each to their own.
I was wondering if some of you could give me some ideas on spod mixes I could give a go.
How has the lakes been lately? I came down for a walk on Monday and the lakes were frozen well Bluebell was 80% frozen Mallard clear Kingy 40% frozen and swan was a complete ice rink.
