Wood Pool
| And now for something different... Our only purpose built small water of about half an acre and 20 pegs, and if you're not on Kingfisher waiting for 'Benson' and you want your float to dip again and again then try Wood Pool, stocked with small carp, orfe, roach, goldfish and crucians.
This pool is an ideal place for youngsters or beginners to learn their water craft, or for the more experienced angler to practice his skills. Lots of small fish here and very easy to catch, but watch out for the bigger carp to 5lb they can lead you a merry dance, especially on light tackle. Wood Pool is the place if you just want to catch fish, practice your skills, learn and then perhaps you will be ready to move onto Bluebell Lake, have fun. |
