Q: When can we fish for Pike?
A: Pike fishing is only permitted between the months of October and March. There is no Pike fishing any other time of the year. There is no Pike fishing on Kingfisher Lake or Swan Lake.
Q: Do you have a cafe?
A: There is a snack bar on site providing hot meals and drinks, there is also an Indian take-away that will deliver to the reception car park.
Q: Can I use a bait boat?
A: Yes, as long as it is used sensibly and in your own swim.
Q: Can I book a swim?
A: No, we do not take bookings for swims under any circumstances.
Q: Do you take Credit/Debit Cards?
Q: Braided mainline is band, can I use a braided hooklink?
A: Yes, you can use a short braid hook length, No braid on a Zig Rigs.
Q: Can I use braid on my marker rod?
Q: Can I use Leadcore?
Q: Can I use particles?
A: Yes, As long as it is prepared properly and does not contain chickpeas or nuts of any description.
Q: Do I need to bring a barrow?
A: This is up to you, however if the ground is dry, you can park behind your peg. If the ground is wet or soft, then you can drop your tackle off next to 70% of the pegs.
Q: What facilities do you have?
A: We have showers and toilets (with toilet paper) which are kept clean. We have a tackle shop that stocks all the end tackle you will need (Fox, Korda, PB) a range of Dynamite Baits and a select range of Trakker Products.
Q: Are there any double pegs?
A: There are a limited number of double pegs on all the lakes.
Q: Are there Catfish in all you lakes?
A: No, the only lake with catfish in is Swan Lake.
Q: Why is there no day ticket price for Kingfisher Lake and Swan Lake.
A: The minimum ticket on these lakes is 24 hours, this is so that long stayers are not disturbed by people coming and going. Also these lakes are hard waters, a single day is just not long enough.
